Aniimo, the free-to-play creature-collecting open-world RPG from Pawprint Studio, goes live in five days. Servers open on September 16, 2026 at 10:00 UTC+8 — that is September 15 at 7:00 PM PT for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S players. The iOS and Android versions follow one week later on September 23, 2026.

With more than 30 million pre-registrations already on the board, every global milestone reward is unlocked. If you have not signed up yet, you still have time, and the reward stack is worth the two minutes it takes.

Every Pre-Registration Reward Available at Launch

The official milestone track on the Aniimo website and third-party rundowns like the GameHaunt reward breakdown agree on the same four tiers:

  • 10 million — Glimmer x200 (premium currency)
  • 15 million — Aniipod Ultra x2 (high-tier capture items)
  • 20 million — Companion Promise avatar frame (limited cosmetic)
  • 30 million — Sunlit Meadow outfit (limited cosmetic)

On top of those milestones, simply registering before launch grants a Susuta Egg, a bonus creature egg that gives you an early roster option. Logging in across multiple days after launch also adds a random Perfect Egg through the Global Launch Rewards campaign. Because rewards are tied to your Aniimo account email and the game supports full cross-progression, anything you claim on PC or console will carry over to mobile when that version drops.

What Makes Aniimo Different From Other Creature-Catchers

The headline mechanic is Twining. Instead of just issuing commands to your captured creatures, you fuse with them to see the world through their eyes and use their abilities in real time. That turns creature collection into traversal and puzzle-solving: a flying Aniimo lets you glide across gaps, a burrowing one opens underground paths, and an aquatic one turns rivers into shortcuts.

Combat is real-time action rather than turn-based, and the open world of Idyll uses weather, time of day, and terrain to change where specific Aniimo spawn. If you are coming from another creature-collecting game, our Palworld best Pals tier list covers similar "capture first, build a team second" thinking — though Aniimo leans harder into action-RPG combat and transformation than base management.

Optional Paid Editions on PlayStation and Xbox

The base game is free, but console storefronts are selling two launch bundles:

  • Advanced Edition$9.99. Includes the PlayStation-exclusive Fluffy Friend accessory, an Advanced Companion Handbook, a Prismana Aniimo Egg with Perfect Potential, and evolution materials.
  • Collector's Edition$19.99. Adds an exclusive doll, avatar frame, and extra in-game items on top of the Advanced contents.

Neither bundle is required to play, and the Fluffy Friend accessory is specifically flagged as a PlayStation pre-order exclusive. PC players can ignore both and jump in for free.

Day-One Priorities for New Pathfinders

When servers open, do these four things before you start exploring:

  1. Claim your pre-registration mail — the milestone stack and Susuta Egg should arrive in your inbox.
  2. Pick a starting zone that matches your schedule — popular zones fill fast on F2P launch day.
  3. Save your Aniipod Ultras for rare spawns instead of using them on the first common creature you see.
  4. Unlock the first Twine forms quickly — traversal abilities make every objective afterward faster.

Multiplayer is available from launch, including Egg Heist, a three-player PvEvP mode where teams race to secure rare eggs while defending against rival squads and wild Aniimo.

What to Watch Next

  • September 15, 7:00 PM PT — PC and console servers go live.
  • September 16, 10:00 AM Beijing / 3:00 AM CEST — the same global unlock, depending on your region.
  • September 23 — iOS and Android launch, with cross-progression carrying your account forward.
  • Launch week — we will follow up with a beginner's guide and starter-creature tier list once the live economy settles.
